Securfund is a Calgary based real estate development company. Through adherence to both short and long term investment objectives, the company has established a solid position in the real estate development industry.

Securfund currently owns and operates an expanding portfolio of Calgary and Edmonton properties. Securfund has participated in the acquisition of apartment buildings, small office structures, retail and warehouse facilities and lot subdivisions. In 1987, Securfund developed the Fox Hollow Golf Course in Calgary after being the successful tender to the City of Calgary. Securfund has also developed golf domes in Edmonton, Regina and Saskatoon. In partnership with Sumitomo Corporation of Japan, Securfund developed the Markham, Ontario Golf Complex.

Securfund also participated in the Purchase of the Penhold Airforce Base from the Government of Canada and renovated and completed, to date, 250 homes and is presently involved in the servicing and subdivision of 600 lots in the Springbrook neighborhood.

Commencing in the year 2000, Securfund purchased a downtown property adjacent to the Bow River and invited key industry partners to codevelop a 110 unit luxury condo project know as the 205 Riverfront Complex. This complex was the fastest selling complex in Calgary. Subsequent to this development, Securfund purchased two additional properties and constructed two more residential properties which have been sold out.

Securfund has recently completed devloping Douglasdale Business Park, which is 120,000 square feet of office/condos for sale to owner/users.

Securfund invests in property on its own account, or in joint ventures with select partners. The company is proud of its fine reputation and is well known in the Calgary Real Estate community.

Securfund is owned and managed by William Lister; a native Calgarian, commercial lawyer and businessman. Through 1987-88 Mr. Lister served as an affiliate developer of Morgan Financial Corporation of Toronto. Securfund retains the services of external consultants to complement its staff and outsources property management.
